About The Art Fair
AKAA, also known as Africa, is an international contemporary art and design fair held annually in Paris at the Carreau du Temple.
Founded in 2016 by Victoria Mann, AKAA focuses on contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora bringing together galleries, artists, collectors and institutions from across the continent and internationally. The fair presents painting, sculpture, photography, installation, design and other contemporary practices.
Reaffirming its commitment to promoting the visibility, mobility, and recognition of African and Afro-descendant artists on the international stage, AKAA continues to play a central role in the growth and structuring of the market.
