Artist Biography

Mukudzei Muzondo (b. 1983, Kwekwe, Zimbabwe) is a visual artist currently living and working in Marondera. His multidisciplinary practice is rooted in printmaking, with a particular emphasis on serigraph echniques that harness natural light and organic processes. He began his formal art education at the Peter Birch School of Art. There after completing an Advanced Certificate at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, where he was also selected for an artist residency.

Muzondo further pursued his training at Harare Polytechnic College, earning a National Diploma in Fine Art and an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design. Mukudzei has participated in numerous group exhibitions, international workshops, and artist residencies, and has held four solo exhibitions in Harare. His work is recognized for its introspective approach, offering a poetic yet grounded exploration of contemporary Zimbabwean life.
